Early in the Morning we left phoenix, heading West one last time on I-10 towards Los Angeles, CA. Although the weather had cooled off at night, the heat started to take over once again very quickly. Strangely enough, the feeling of leaving I-10, which had taken us West since Tallahasse,FL was bitter sweet, not a feeling of relief like I had expected. Of course I was happy to finally be on the other side of the country, but that meant that now I was leaving the South! This actually scared me to no end.
