Our first stop on the road: The Maclay State Park, Talahassee FL
After a good 4+ hours on the road pulling the 4x8 U-Haul trailer at over 70 mph (that's possible actually if you stay pretty close behind 18 wheelers....They suck you up in their speed!), we took a much deserved break in the park, where we enjoyed the water and the appeasing sound of the wind through the hanging moss trees. FLORIDA ON MY MIND...I started realizing that I had never been that far North in FL, ever, not in 9 years. I knew we were getting closer and closer to Alabama, and that I could not even get sad glancing at the sight of the sunshine state disappearing in my rear view mirror because...well, all I could see was the top of the U-Haul and Prince sticking his tongue out so far it looked like melting chewing gum!
